Basketball Recap: South Haven Takes a Loss

If South Haven was feeling good fresh off their 50-27 takedown of South Barber last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The South Haven Cardinals were beaten by the Medicine Lodge Indians 70-42 on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 85-51 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

South Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Medicine Lodge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-1-1 record this season.

South Haven didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-30 loss against Norwich on the 20th. As for Medicine Lodge, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on South Central on January 10, 2025.
