Softball Recap: West Lincoln Takes a Loss

West Lincoln fell victim to Pisgah and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 11-0 to the Dragons. The defeat continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Dragons: they've now lost four in a row.

West Lincoln saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylie Jarancik, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Jarancik's first of the season.

West Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Pisgah, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Lincoln will face off against Amite County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. West Lincoln is facing Amite County at the right time seeing as Amite County is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Pisgah, they will square off against Puckett at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Pisgah's pitchers better be ready for this one: Puckett has averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
