Baseball Recap: Eagan Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Eagan won the last time they faced Rosemount and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Irish by a score of 11-7. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly four runs.

Anthony Hyvare was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Jackson Dwyer also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Eagan's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-9. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Rosemount, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Eagan will face off against Cretin-Derham Hall at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Rosemount, they will square off against Lakeville South at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
