Football Recap: Ridgevue Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Ridgevue was feeling good fresh off their 53-7 takedown of Wood River last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warhawks and the Emmett Huskies were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but the Warhawks suffered a 27-26 defeat. The loss continues a trend for the Warhawks in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost seven in a row.

Despite the loss, Ridgevue still got an impressive performance from Jarom Walker, who rushed for 185 yards and one score on only 15 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Schmittel, who threw for 152 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes.

Nessen Korell was his usual excellent self, rushing for 100 yards, while also throwing for 64 yards and one TD on only six passes for Emmett.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ridgevue fell to 2-1. As for Emmett, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
