Basketball Game Preview: Beal City Aggies vs. Chippewa Hills Warriors

The Beal City Aggies will venture away from home to challenge the Chippewa Hills Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Beal City will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Beal City proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 22) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Pine River Area 47-45.

Meanwhile, Chippewa Hills was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 41-37 to Newaygo. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 550th, while the Lions are ranked 98th).

Chippewa Hills has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season. Beal City now has a winning record of 11-10.

Everything came up roses for Beal City against Chippewa Hills in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 67-33 victory. In that contest, Beal City amassed a halftime lead of 38-14, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
