It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Seeger ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They slipped by the North Vermillion Falcons 65-64. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Seeger's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jack Cole, who went 8-for-19 en route to 21 points. Another player making a difference was Payton Ford, who posted ten points in addition to eight assists and three steals.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Teagan Leonard, who shot 70% from the field to rack up 23 points along with eight boards and six assists. That was a full 35.9% of North Vermillion's points, marking the third time in a row Leonard has scored more than a third of the team's points. Graham Young was another key player, going 7-for-13 on his way to 18 points.

Seeger's win bumped their record up to 15-8. As for North Vermillion, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

Seeger didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 50-41 defeat against North Montgomery on the 3rd. As for North Vermillion, they have also already played their next game, a 50-34 victory against Fountain Central on the 4th.
