Baseball Recap: Madras Takes a Loss

Madras was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gladstone Gladiators. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gladiators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 last Monday.

Madras' defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Gladstone, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Madras is set to take on their familiar foe The Dalles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Gladstone will challenge rival Estacada at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
