Basketball Recap: Wadley Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

Wadley won the last time they faced Woodland, and A'Mya Brown did her part to make sure it happened again. The Wadley Bulldogs came out on top against the Woodland Bobcats by a score of 43-33 on Monday thanks in part to Brown, who almost dropped a double-double on 26 points and nine steals. The matchup was her fourth in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Bentley Mulkey, who posted two points along with six rebounds and four steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in December of 2024.

Wadley is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 26.8% in those games and 25% outside of them. As for Woodland, their loss was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-19.

As of now, neither Wadley nor Woodland have any future games scheduled.
