Recap: Wethersfield Eagles vs. Windsor Locks Raiders
The Wethersfield Eagles pushed their score all the way to 62 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Windsor Locks 67-62.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Windsor Locks to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jack Grasso, who scored 25 points along with four steals. The match was Grasso's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sincere Monroe, who scored 19 points along with four steals.
Wethersfield's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-2. As for Windsor Locks, the win was the seventh in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Wethersfield will head out on the road to face off against Bloomfield at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Bloomfield and Wethersfield are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads. Windsor Locks will be home for the holidays to greet Suffield at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
