Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Denver Jewish Day). Everything went their way against the Campion Academy Cougars on Monday as the Denver Jewish Day Tigers made off with a 59-33 win. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Tigers had established a 23 point advantage.

It was another big night for Solly Bielsky, who went 6 of 7 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and eight boards. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Denver Jewish Day's points. Another player making a difference was Ronen Trujillo, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 17 points and five steals.

Denver Jewish Day was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Despite the loss, Campion Academy still got an impressive performance from Izuchi Nwankwo, who went 5 of 10 en route to 19 points and seven blocks. Nwankwo has been hot recently, having posted three or more blocks the last four times he's played.

The victory got Denver Jewish Day back to even at 5-5. As for Campion Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season.

Denver Jewish Day will head out on the road to square off against Denver Waldorf at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Denver Waldorf will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Denver Jewish Day surely won't give up without a fight. As for Campion Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Front Range Baptist at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Front Range Baptist is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season.
