Basketball Recap: St. Martin Snaps 18-Game Streak of Wins at Home

St. Martin entered their contest against Harrison Central on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The St. Martin Yellow Jackets took a 49-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harrison Central Red Rebels. The Yellow Jackets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Rebels earlier this season, when they won 49-36.

St. Martin's defeat ended an 18-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 20-4. As for Harrison Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-6.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing D'Iberville the next time they take the court. Harrison Central will host D'Iberville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while St. Martin will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
