Basketball Recap: Massanutten Military Academy Takes a Loss

Massanutten Military Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were beaten by the Shenandoah Valley Academy Stars 94-37. The Colonels were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-28.

Massanutten Military Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Shenandoah Valley Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Massanutten Military Academy will host Redeemer Classical at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shenandoah Valley Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Eastern Mennonite at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Shenandoah Valley Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Eastern Mennonite likes a good challenge.
