Softball Recap: Wasilla Comes Up Short

Wasilla fell victim to Colony and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 8-0 to the Knights. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost four in a row.

Wasilla saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Becca Taysom, who went 1-for-2 with one triple. That triple was Taysom's first of the season.

Wasilla's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Colony, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wasilla will welcome Lathrop at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Colony, they will face off against West Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Knights are facing the Wolf Pack at the right time seeing as the Wolf Pack are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
