Volleyball Recap: Hailey Rodriguez Key Part of Team Effort in Yellowjackets Win

Edcouch-Elsa picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Yellowjackets.

Edcouch-Elsa's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hailey Rodriguez, who had seven digs and four aces. That's the most digs Rodriguez has posted over her last six matchups. Another player making a difference was Alliyah Ramirez, who had ten digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good server: Edcouch-Elsa was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They are a perfect 4-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Edcouch-Elsa's record now sits at 6-3. As for Skidmore-Tynan, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
