Recap: Chittenango Bears vs. Homer Trojans
The Chittenango Bears's game on Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 68-38 win over Homer. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-19.
It was another big night for Ryan Moesch, who scored 31 points along with nine assists and six steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Chittenango's points. Another player making a difference was Hunter Taylor, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Chittenango's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Homer, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chittenango will be home for the holidays to greet General Brown at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. General Brown is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Homer will be home for the holidays to greet Cortland at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Cortland comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
