Baseball Recap: Ashland Comes Up Short

Ashland fell victim to Lexington and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Minutemen. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Arrows of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Ashland has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Lexington, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.

The Arrows are facing the Mounties at the right time seeing as the Mounties are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lexington, they will challenge Clear Fork at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
