Soccer Recap: Gainesville Comes Up Short

Gainesville's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Leesburg Yellow Jackets. Gainesville have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Gainesville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-2. As for Leesburg, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1-1.

Gainesville will take on Williston in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Leesburg and South Sumter will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
