Basketball Game Preview: Noblesville Millers vs. Fishers Tigers

The Noblesville Millers will take on the Fishers Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Noblesville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.5 points per game this season.

Noblesville took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They came out on top against Indianapolis Crispus Attucks by a score of 61-51.

Noblesville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was C.C. Quigley, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 20 boards. With that strong performance, Quigley is now averaging an impressive 2.2 blocks per game. Norah Vetor was another key player, dropping a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds.

Noblesville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. They are a perfect 4-0 when they hit their own glass that hard.

Meanwhile, Fishers entered their tilt with Evansville North on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 45-40 W against the Huskies.

Fishers' victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Noblesville, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Noblesville won a contest that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in December of 2024, slipping by Fishers 52-51. Will the Millers repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
