Basketball Recap: Centralia Gets the Win

After losing to California the last time they met, Centralia decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Centralia Panthers slipped by the California Pintos 45-44 on Tuesday. The 45-point effort marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Centralia's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points per game. As for California, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centralia will take on Chillicothe in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chillicothe is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.3 points per game this season. California and Owensville will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
