Lynchburg-Clay barely beat Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs blew past the Blue Jays 3-0 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Mustangs have posted against the Blue Jays since August 25, 2020.

Lynchburg-Clay never let Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-14, 26-24.

Mattie Magee paced Lynchburg-Clay's offense, picking up nine kills. Magee got some help from Ava Mclaughlin and her 27 assists. Joslyn Rockey controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.
