Soccer Game Preview: Burlington vs. Fairfield

Burlington has gone a perfect 9-0 against Fairfield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Grayhounds will challenge the Trojans at 4:30 p.m.

Burlington is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Fort Madison just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Monday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Burlington's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Fairfield came up short against Keokuk on Monday and fell 3-1.

Fairfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. Burlington's draw gives them a new season record of 4-1-1.

Everything went Burlington's way against Fairfield in their previous matchup back in April, as Burlington made off with a 4-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Grayhounds since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
