Volleyball Recap: Back of the Yards College Prep Takes a Loss

Back of the Yards College Prep lost against Morgan Park Academy back in October of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bobcats fell 2-0 to the Warriors.

Isabella Almanza was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 11 digs and two aces.

Back of the Yards College Prep has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's still a better percentage than their 4-15 record this season. As for Morgan Park Academy, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Back of the Yards College Prep and Juarez will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Morgan Park Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against UIC College Prep on the 11th.
