Baseball Recap: Jeffersonville Comes Up Short

Jeffersonville lost against Pleasure Ridge Park back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Devils lost 13-1 to the Panthers. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jeffersonville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braylen Gray, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. That double was Gray's first of the season.

Jeffersonville's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Pleasure Ridge Park, their victory was their 37th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-3.

Looking ahead, Jeffersonville will venture away from home to challenge Corydon Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pleasure Ridge Park, they will host Spencer County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
