Basketball Recap: Chatham Takes a Loss

Chatham lost against Halifax County last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cavaliers fell just short of the Comets by a score of 61-59.

Chatham now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Halifax County, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Chatham won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Gretna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Cavaliers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Halifax County, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Person at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Comets will be up against the Rockets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.6 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
