Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Site). They breezed by the Red Bay Tigers to the tune of 59-20 on Tuesday. The Royals pushed the score to 46-17 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers had little chance of recovering from.
New Site was led to victory by Ayla Stanley and Bella Green. Stanley had 12 points along with four steals, while Green had ten points plus five rebounds. Stanley has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Kayleigh Knight was another key player, earning seven points along with five assists and five rebounds.
New Site was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
