Holston took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Northwood, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cavaliers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cavaliers as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Holston's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-5. As for Northwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
