Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hueneme). Everything went their way against the Malibu Sharks on Friday as Hueneme made off with a 16-2 win. The Vikings have beaten the Sharks the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Sharks has come to flipping the script.
George Rodriguez tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Hueneme is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 3-6 otherwise.
At the plate, Hueneme got a massive performance out of Joseph Pena, who scored two runs while going 2-for-5.
