 Blackman scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Friday. Everything went their way against the Macon County Tigers  as the Blackman Blaze made off with  a  21-2 win. The  victory was some much needed relief for Blackman as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
  Katie Robinson was  incredible,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with three  runs, four  RBI,  and a  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sophia Sullivan, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Blackman's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Macon County, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-3.
 Blackman is on the road again  on Monday to play John Carroll Catholic at 2:00  p.m. One thing working in John Carroll Catholic's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  in their last five matchups. As for Macon County, they will look to defend their home field  on Saturday against Manteno at 4:00  p.m.
