Softball Recap: Forbush Takes a Loss

Forbush and North Stanly squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Forbush had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Comets by a score of 3-2.

Forbush's defeat dropped their record down to 20-8. As for North Stanly, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Forbush does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Stanly, they will face off against West Stokes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Comets 2.5, the Wildcats 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
