Football Recap: Worth County Picks Up 12th Straight Win at Home + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Worth County rose to the challenge on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the McNair Mustangs 68-0. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won eight games by 23 points or more so far this season.

Worth County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaden Chester, who rushed for 150 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. Those 150 rushing yards gave Chester a new career-high. Treshaun Jones was another key back, rushing for 71 yards and four TDs on only five carries.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Worth County proved: they limited McNair to a paltry 2.2 yards per carry. While two picked up at least 11 total tackles, Brady Weaver stood above the rest. He made 11 total tackles (4.0 for loss). Worth County didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 17.

Worth County's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.1 points over those games. As for McNair, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Worth County will face off against Bleckley County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Rams 10.5, the Royals 14.3) so any points scored will be well earned. McNair does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
