Basketball Game Preview: South Portland Red Riots vs. Gorham Rams

The South Portland Red Riots will take on the Gorham Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

South Portland is headed into Thursday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They took a 46-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Portland on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Gorham, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Sanford by a score of 62-55 on Tuesday.

Gorham's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for South Portland, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.

South Portland strolled past Gorham when the teams last played back in January by a score of 63-45. Does South Portland have another victory up their sleeve, or will Gorham turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
