Basketball Game Preview: Sandhills/Thedford Knights vs. Ansley/Litchfield Spartans

Sandhills/Thedford hasn't had much luck against Ansley/Litchfield recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Sandhills/Thedford Knights will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Ansley/Litchfield Spartans.

Last Saturday, Sandhills/Thedford lost to Sumner-Eddyville-Miller at home by a 59-44 margin. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Ansley/Litchfield came into Friday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Central Valley on Friday, sneaking past 55-53.

The victory got Ansley/Litchfield back to even at 3-3. As for Sandhills/Thedford, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Sandhills/Thedford came up short against Ansley/Litchfield in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 56-50. Can Sandhills/Thedford avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
