Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Tolono Unity's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 9-6 to Mt. Zion.

Emmerson Bailey was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

Tolono Unity's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for St. Joseph-Ogden, their win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-2.

Everything went St. Joseph-Ogden's way against Tolono Unity in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as St. Joseph-Ogden made off with a 12-5 victory. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Rockets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
