After losing to Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet the last time they met, West Creek decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Coyote came out on top against the Royals by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Coyote.

Olyvia Holloway paced West Creek's offense, picking up six kills. Holloway got some help from Nicole Cushionberry and her seven assists. Cushionberry also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Myri Booker, racking up three apiece.

West Creek's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
