Woodland played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Eagle's Landing Eagles, falling 34-9. If the Wolfpack were looking for revenge after losing 43-27 to the Eagles when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Woodland lost, don't look at Brayden Rogers. Despite the final result, he rushed for 169 yards and one TD while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. Rogers is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 110 every time he's taken the field this season. Courey Bryan helped out on the ground, rushing for 103 yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Woodland fell to 2-1. As for Eagle's Landing, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-0.
