Volleyball Game Preview: Legacy Longhorns vs. Mojave Rattlers

The Legacy Longhorns will take on the Mojave Rattlers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Legacy was able to grind out a solid win over Doral Academy Red Rock, taking the game 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Longhorns in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won eight in a row.

Legacy was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15, 20-25, 28-26.

Meanwhile, Mojave earned a 3-1 win over Bonanza on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rattlers.

Mojave had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-13, 25-19, 25-21.

Legacy pushed their record up to 15-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Mojave, their win bumped their record up to 14-11.

Legacy came out on top in a nail-biter against Mojave in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Longhorns since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
