Baseball Recap: Channel Islands Takes a Loss

Channel Islands lost against Garfield back in March of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Channel Islands Raiders lost 8-1 to the Garfield Bulldogs. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Channel Islands saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Salinas, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double. The dominant performance also gave Salinas a new career-high in hits (three).

Channel Islands' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Garfield, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Channel Islands will venture away from home to challenge Rio Mesa at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Garfield, they will welcome Edgewood at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
