Softball Recap: California Military Institute Takes a Loss

California Military Institute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Temecula Prep Patriots, falling 20-11. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (ten), the Rough Riders still had to take the loss.

California Military Institute's record now sits at 0-12. As for Temecula Prep, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-16.

California Military Institute does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Temecula Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against California Lutheran at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The C-Hawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.29 runs per game on average), something the Patriots will no doubt try to take advantage of.
