It was fun while it lasted, but Harding Academy's undefeated season came to an end after eight games on Friday. The game between them and the Beebe Badgers didn't end well, with the Harding Academy Wildcats falling 46-29. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Harding Academy still got an impressive performance from Claire Citty, who went 6 of 15 en route to 14 points. That was a full 48.3% of Harding Academy's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Mileigh Harlow, who had three points and 14 rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Harding Academy fell to 8-1. As for Beebe, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.
