Volleyball Recap: Futures Comes Up Short

Futures's tournament run continued when they took on Pitman on Saturday. Futures fell just short of Pitman by a score of 2-1. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Futures started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-11, 15-3.

Futures' defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Pitman, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Futures has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Cosumnes Oaks on the 29th. As for Pitman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Bradshaw Christian on the 29th.
