Soccer Recap: Little Elm Takes a Loss

Little Elm lost against Hebron back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Little Elm Lobos came up short against the Hebron Hawks, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, the Lobos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Hawks are ranked eighth).

Little Elm has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Hebron and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Looking ahead, Little Elm will square off against Guyer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Little Elm has given up an average of 2.5 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Hebron, they will face off against Lewisville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hebron will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last.
