Football Game Preview: Bishop Alemany Warriors vs. St. Francis Golden Knights

The Bishop Alemany Warriors will head out to square off against the St. Francis Golden Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Bishop Alemany and eight for St. Francis dating back to last season.

Bishop Alemany is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Cathedral on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Warriors were dealt a 41-13 loss at the hands of the Phantoms. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 320th, while the Phantoms are ranked 87th).

Meanwhile, St. Francis was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 21-16 to St. Paul.

Bishop Alemany's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for St. Francis, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Bishop Alemany might still be hurting after the 37-13 defeat they got from St. Francis in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
