Volleyball Game Preview: Sequoia Ravens vs. Lincoln Mustangs + How To Watch

Sequoia has won four straight games at home, while Lincoln has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Ravens will welcome the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Sequoia is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Los Gatos.

Sequoia was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 18-25, 12-25, 25-11, 16-14.

Sequoia can attribute much of their success to Joslin Fiel, who had eight digs and two aces.

Fiel wasn't the only good servers: Sequoia was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 12 consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Lincoln was able to grind out a solid win over Foothill on Saturday, taking the game 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-6, 21-25, 25-14, 25-22.

Sequoia's victory bumped their record up to 24-15. As for Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 36-8.

Sequoia might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Lincoln in their previous meeting back in August of 2018. Can the Ravens avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
