Soccer Recap: Jacobs Plays to a Tie

For the first time since back in April, Jacobs was forced to settle for a draw on Saturday. Neither they nor the Schaumburg Saxons could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Jacobs' goal came courtesy of Kylie Deegan, who's now up to nine this season.

With that draw, Jacobs' record moves to 6-7-4. Meanwhile, Schaumburg's record is now 7-6-3.

Jacobs has already played their next game, a 7-0 win against Crystal Lake South on the 13th. As for Schaumburg, they won't get a chance for a more definitive result for a while: they'll take on Rolling Meadows at 4:30 p.m. on the 20th. Schaumburg are facing Rolling Meadows at the right time seeing as Rolling Meadows are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
