Meanwhile, Becker gave up the first runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They had just enough and edged out Zimmerman 5-3. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Thunder recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Hunter Pietrowski was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Becker now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Chisago Lakes Area, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
