Baseball Recap: Western New York Maritime Charter Takes a Loss

After flying high against North Collins last Thursday, Western New York Maritime Charter came back down to earth. The Commodores lost 12-2 to the Lackawanna Steelers on Wednesday. The Commodores have struggled against the Steelers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Western New York Maritime Charter now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lackawanna, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Western New York Maritime Charter will face off against City Honors at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lackawanna, they will square off against Holland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
