Baseball Recap: Woodmont Comes Up Short

Woodmont fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against J.L. Mann on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 7-6. The Wildcats have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Woodmont now has a losing record of 5-6. As for J.L. Mann, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5.

While Woodmont had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
