Baseball Recap: Nampa Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Nampa was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They lost 14-1 to the Bishop Kelly Knights. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 12-4.

Jaxon Wade made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base marked the first that he has snagged this season.

Nampa's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Bishop Kelly, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Nampa nor Bishop Kelly have any future games scheduled.
