League recap: Walker throws longest pass in league this season for Shade

Nash Walker and Tyler Kline provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Tussey Mountain. The connection was good for 80 yards, the longest such play in Western Pennsylvania [WPAC] this season.

Shade fell to the Titans 41-8 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kline was a bright spot for the Panthers, as he ran for 71 yards and caught 2 passes for 100 yards in the loss.

Walker put up the best numbers in passing as Shade fell to Tussey Mountain. He finished with a total of 5 completions for 151 yards and 1 touchdown. Walker's favorite target this week was Kline, who caught 2 passes for 100 yards.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Windber's Devon Tomlinson and Matt Barkley have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-10 quarterback Tomlinson has thrown for 1,086 yards this season, while Barkley has 42 catches for 708 yards. Berlin Brothersvalley's Braden Fochtman leads the league in rushing yards with 1,921.

Larry Stevens has rushed for 908 yards on 103 carries so far this year.

The longest pass in the league this week came courtesy of Don Fyfe's team's Walker. He connected with Kline on a 80-yard pass as the Panthers fell to Joshua Smith's team.
