Cabell Midland waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Blazer Tomcats.

The team relied heavily on Becca Conrad, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. That's the most doubles she has posted over her last 11 matches. Another player making a difference was Madison McCallister, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

Cabell Midland's victory bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Blazer, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.
